Radius Ski Camps Recognized as Independent Club by AOA & ACA
Radius Ski Camps is officially recognized as an independent club by Alpine Ontario Alpin (AOA) and Alpine Canada Alpin (ACA). This supports our commitment to high-quality athlete development and ensures our programs meet provincial standards for coaching, safety, and training.
What makes Radius unique is our model: we do not compete with provincial ski clubs. Instead, we complement them by giving athletes from any club the chance to gain additional on-snow time at world-class locations in Canada and around the globe. Our international and early-season training camps help athletes return to their home clubs more confident, technically sound, and competition-ready.
The AOA & ACA designation formalizes our hybrid approach—part camp, part club—and expands opportunities for athletes seeking more time on snow while remaining connected to their local programs.
My Stor(E)y
Since I could walk, skiing has been at the heart of my life. My journey began in the living room, learning to walk in ski boots, and by the age of three, I was carving my first turns at Devil's Glen in Collingwood.
At sixteen, I joined the National Ski Academy, which led to a spot on the Ontario Team—first as an athlete, then later as a coach. The incredible experiences and opportunities that skiing has given me have fueled a deep passion to give back to the sport.
That passion led me to create Radius, with a mission to recognize and nurture the potential in young athletes—not just on the hill, but in life beyond skiing. Through our camps, I aim to provide transformative experiences like those that shaped my own path: ones that inspire confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love for the mountains.

At Radius Ski Camps, we believe a race camp should be more than fast skiing—it should be a catalyst for growth. Our programs are designed to strengthen fundamentals, refine technical skills, and challenge athletes to move beyond their comfort zones in a supportive, high-performance environment.
Our mission extends far beyond results on race day. We focus on developing character, resilience, and confidence—qualities that empower athletes not only on the hill, but in every aspect of their lives.

Our coaching team brings more than 100 years of combined experience in competitive alpine ski racing and coaching. Having navigated the journey ourselves, we understand what it takes to succeed.
Each coach is carefully selected for their expertise, dedication, and passion for helping young athletes grow.
We are committed to maintaining a 6:1 athlete-to-coach ratio, ensuring personalized guidance and attention for every participant.

Founder & Coach
For over 25 years, Storey has been a pillar in the Ontario skiing community. A former member of the Ontario Ski Team, he transitioned into coaching. He served as the Head Coach for the Ontario Women's Ski Team he was instrumental in guiding and shaping the emerging talents during his tenure . As the Performance Director at Devils Glen, Storey, has skillfully directed the development of young athletes from U8 to U16 levels over the years.
Credentials Include:
- World Junior Alpine Ski Championship - 1996 team
- Level 3 CSCF
- Level 3 CSIA
- Level 3 Officials

Senior Director of All Things & Coach
Doug has 43 years of experience coaching at all levels from U10 to male and females at the Provincial level. He additionally has 40 years of experience running and organizing development camps for technical and speed skiing.
Doug's coaching philosophy rooted in holistic growth by developing the key components required to tip it and rip it.
Credentials Include:
- Level 4 CSIA Course Conductor
- Level 3 CSCF Master Course Conductor
- ACA Performance Level Coach

Sam has planned international events for over 25 years. From smaller groups of 20 up to 3,000 people, Sam is your go-to person for questions on camp logistics.
